Late night sirens

COULD any person reading this who works for the St Helens police or paramedics please tell me why both of these public services have taken to haring round our roads with both blues and two's on, especially late at night and in the early hours. I realise that they are required to advise other road users that an emergency vehicle is approaching but I have witnessed both hurtling through Billinge with not another vehicle on the road with the sirens doing nothing but waking up local residents like myself.  more...
